Mapicca has a long and unique history. The fourteen First Ones watch over the people, and the afterlives of Kesla and Aaksiila are filled with the souls of the past.
One of the First Ones, Opela, Lady of the Temporal and goddess of the Time element, has nightly visions of things that will come to pass. Things like the formation of Mapicca's peoples, the societies that rise… the loss of her own element, the destruction of the universe.
To keep track of her prophecies, Opela writes them down in a tome known as Ne Skripa tæ Novaar Merexii, better known as the Book of Foretold Legends.
